So I guess this is the new locale?
Don't really know How to use this site, so at the very least it's gonna take a while for me to get used to it and such. Also posting everything in one place rather than like 10 different blogs by subject? :/ Hmm.
An intro is in order I suppose.
My main was ihasafandom on tumblr. Didn't post much original there, but that's where I chatted and reblogged fun stuff. I love a bunch of stuff, but Homestuck is a perennial major fandom. It was my first when it came to being active, though I only started posting content near the tail end of the comic and only started talking to people like 3 years ago.
On ArtbyIfer I posted my art. I do a lot of fantasy, anthro, dragons, and fanart. I have not gone to lifedrawing for a long while now, but I've still got a backlog of art I'm cleaning up and posting from that. I am working on making xeno designs I'm happy with for all the Homestuck aliens, as well as some for the typical fantasy demihumans that are more than just "short human with pointy ears". IMO if the difference between fantasy races is less than the diversity within the human race, you're doing it wrong!
I reblogged politics and medical stuff to ihasapolitics and eventually ihasasecondpolitics, when the former developed a weird bug? where most things refused to post.
Ihasahouse and ihasaaesthetic were for stuff that's pretty or that would be cool in a house.
Ihasaknowledge and ihasaidea were for science and innovation. Ihasaart was for art tutorials.
And on artistencyclopedia I'm working on an animal reference book for artists. So when I go to a furry con in the middle of the woods I don't have to guess at what a skunk or civet or whatever look like and end up drawing a weird cat. I have seen so many pictures of weird cats and weird dogs at furry cons. The details can be hard to get right for a specific species, but it's worth it to get it right! Anyway, I have found a handful of similar references others have made, but they are not nearly as common, as thorough, or as wide-ranging as I would have hoped. I am always hopeful that some other people will pick up the project with me, it's an immense undertaking and I think it would be incredibly helpful to artists everywhere.
And finally xeno-bio-sociology (and xenobio2 when I couldn't post my drafts fast enough to archive them before the purge, stupid post limit) is where I collected all the good, good xeno content. I have a preference for science-y, fandom, and fantasy-demihuman stuff, (and an... anti-preference? for explicit stuff, but one takes what one can get and y'all love dongs :/) but really I love it all. I was expecting this blog to be deleted in the purge, but it is still there?? Just some posts are gone. Still, I got it all in a folder on my computer and will be looking for a good place to disgorge it for posterity.
I also post art on deviantArt (juandfr) and FurAffinity (ifer). I have started up a Pillowfort (ifer) and a xeno community on it (xeno worldbuilding) so we'll see how that goes. Tumblr had the easiest posting, so it'll be difficult for me to continue being as active I think. Especially with so many different platforms to keep up with and post on. I already posted only a bare fraction of my stuff on DA and FA. I had an IFTTT going for my art on tumblr to crosspost to facebook and twitter, so it'd be great if they came out with more platforms for that so I could do all the posting in one place. Anyone know of a more comprehensive alternative?
